This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri and Bob were watching the TV. There was a documentary about the Everglades on. "Al" with his thunb in his belt loop, stretching out Bob's back in his usual way, asked Sheri if she remember going there with him. Sheri replied cautiously as not to embarrass him since she has never been there , " No, I don't think I have ever been there." "Al" chuckled and said " boy, and I thought my memory was bad"   :)

  1. Honestly! It's a good thing you're writing these things down. I see a book in the making here :)
