This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Bob was watching one of his favorite singers Daniel O'Donnell. "Al" was recounting for Sheri a time when he saw him live in concert and Daniel had to discipline another singer in public. Bob never saw Daniel live in concert... in fact he had never heard of him before attending the Adult Day Center, but it is okay "Al" is building Bob's life the only way he can and Sheri is learning to deal with it.

2 Corinthians 4:16
Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
