This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri had a cyber friend share her video creations with her. These are adorable funny videos call "gigglewiththecgoats". Bob and "Al" thought they were hilarious and provided a much needed way to pass the time, particularly when his back pain was bad. Set to music these little critters are just what the doctor ordered for those who need their frown turned upside down!  If you are dealing with someone like "Al" in your life, these might just be worth a try for a change of pace. Oh, and of course "Al"  told Sheri he had been to that very farm in the video!   Thank you Pattie!
