This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

"Al" is speaking the confusion that has been in Bob's head, for what Sheri is sure, is quite a few years. Despite the major snow storm this past week the  roads here in the frozen tundra are clear of snow. While driving home from a trip to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum yesterday, Sheri approaches a light and there is a median/island to their right which is where the plows of piled the snow. "Al" seeing all the snow says " Why wouldn't they clear all that snow? We would have another whole lane to drive in."
Oh what it  must be like to be in his head...  :(
