This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri just did not do well with Bob and "Al" this weekend. She was frustrated and felt like she was snapping at him. Sheri hates when she has an  a..ah.. moment. She thinks she needs to take a moment and regroup on what she can and can not handle, and then make a plan accordingly.
Sheri hates Alzheimer's...hates it.

  1. Dearest Sheri.
YES you hate Alzheimer's and you love your husband.
You are tired and human, therefor you snap. And fear makes it worse. Get a tad of support this week. Even a couple of hours doing nothing will assist you.
As always I send a hug for you both.
    Warmly - Jayne
