This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri is grateful for dear friends from her small group bible study, who answered her plea for help with the door knob last evening. They were there in a flash and had it back on and the latch adjusted correctly. Sheri was a little worried about  Bob seeing someone else working the door, but Sheri just told him that the friends had the special "tool" to fix it. That seemed to suffice, at least until they left. Because then "Al" said to Sheri " I used to have a special "tool" for that too, I wonder what happened to it?" Sheri has been wondering the same thing...  :)

Galatians 6:2 Bearing the Burdens of Others
Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ.
