This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri and Bob were talking about his concert coming up at "work". He is very excited, and he hopes that they won't change the songs around on him. Sheri tried to reassure him that won't happen. Then Bob changed the subject and said that he told allot of people at "work" about the Music In the Park" that the city does across the street from his "work" (the Day Center). Bob was very surprised that not a lot of workers knew about it. Sheri responded "well maybe that is because it is in the evening after everyone has gone home."Al" replies "It is? The concert I am singing in is at night this time?"
  Oy vey....   :)
