This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri got outside of her comfort zone again yesterday and drove Bob and "Al" down to the Como Park Conservatory and did not even get lost. Of course she had to tune out Bob and "Al's" confusion over the directions and what road they were on ( she is getting better at that). It was really more for Sheri then for Bob anyway... she got a chance to take some more photographs, enjoy the great day, and Bob and "Al" enjoyed it too!   :)

  3. The pictures are beautiful. I hope you continue to enjoy your photography. I wonder what kind of pictures Bob and Al would take if they had a simple inexpensive point and shoot camera?
