This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Livng with Bob and Al

Bob has been having difficultly reading his watch. So Sheri got him a new one, bigger face, bigger numbers. Now however, "Al" is wearing two watches. Sheri thinks she is gonna have to help "Al" lose the old one! :)

  1. Sheri, any watch should be digital as they lose the ability to read the hands on a watch. But, even then, it can be difficult.

You probably have the best idea. Let him wear both watches.

You're certainly right about one thing--God knows the patience and love you show to everyone.
