This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Sheri thinks it is ironic that Bob and "Al" are whistling in the shower, and Sheri is feeling like she wants to crawl in to a hole. She guesses it's good that at least one of the three of them is optimistic.

  1. Living in the NOW like Bob and Al sure does have it's advantages... why not sing and be happy? We never really know what tomorrow brings.

Bob and Al sure do have some keen wisdom with lots to teach all of us who seem to forget that right now is all that matters.
