Out of shear boredom today, Sheri took Bob to the mall to walk around., something she has been doing almost daily just to get out of the house. When they left the mall Sheri turned to the left instead of the right at the light, just to look at something different. When they had followed the road as far as it would go Sheri turned around and went back the way they had come. When they reached the mall they at been at, "Al" turned to Sheri and said " Wow , I'll bet it has been at least ten years since we have been out this way."
(heavy sigh)
This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.
