This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Bob got a new guy to train yesterday at work. (code for adult day care) He was very excited to show him the ropes. "Al" says he doesn't remember his name or what he looked liked. Hummm.... Sheri is wondering now if the last 3 "new guys" are one in the same? LOL

  1. I featured your blog in an article at our site today. My wife and I love reading your stories. Brilliant idea, separating Bob and Al. And we so admire how bravely honest you are about your feelings and frustrations.
