This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al
Just another thing for Sheri to handle. She got a notice from the city stating that she had 14 days to remove the chipped and peeling paint from the retainer wall under the fence, her "Life thru the fence post" fence... (Sheri thought it looked kind of Shabby Chic Lol! ) but to comply her dear friends from church came over and power washed it for her yesterday, she was very grateful. Bob was at "work" when they did the job, which was perfect because there was no way Bob could have done this type of thing himself. This afternoon, on the way to the grocery store "Al" said "Did you notice how all the paint just fell off the fence? I have never seen anything like that." :)
