Sheri says a huge thank you to Open Circle :)
This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al
Bob was recognized at "work" this past week. (Work is code for Adult Day Care) Who knew that such a simple thing could make him shine? He has not stopped talking about it yet. He reminded Sheri that he worked for Wards for 25 years and never got an award for his hard work, and that he has only been "working" at this new place a little while and look what he received!
Sheri says a huge thank you to Open Circle :)

I love that you've found this way of helping him be okay with where he is going. Go ahead and call it work. Going to tweet this story.
