This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Last night Sheri and Bob were watching Americas Got Talent. One of the acts were dancers in black that had lights all over their costumes, so in the dark when they performed, they glowed and made awesome patterns. At the end of the performance "Al" turned to Sheri and with all confidence said "That must be what they call an Android." :)

  1. My smile for the day. Thank you again. I know what you are going though is hard. I am doing it too with mom. But you write the funny stuff on your blog instead of the hard or sad stuff. That is wonderful. It me and I hope it helps you.
