This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Bob gets in the car from the Day Care yesterday, Al can't  figure out how to operate the seat belt... he is trying to latch it on the same side that you pull it out from. "Bob" Sheri says," it is over here" handing him the other end.
Al replies, "Oh, I didn't know that"   :)

  1. I have trouble with seat belts too. Mom had trouble with them for yrs. I think I must of buckled her in thousands of times . Not sure she ever tried to do it that way but she never could get it to hook.
