This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Sheri has been trying to make decisions by herself
not because she wants to, but because she has to
Bobs judgment is gone, simple decisions are no longer simple
and difficult ones become impossible.
She knows she needs to make changes, but when she tries to
put one foot in front of the other, it feels as if the earths magnetic
force is holding her place.
She knows relying on God is her only option but sometimes it is very hard to see
when a change is led by God, or when it  is led by desperation.....

Psalm 32:8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.
