This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Well, it is a new week, a new day
Sheri has a new job starting on Thursday
She is going to take the few days she has off
and enjoy life a bit. She will go to the store
with  Bob and "Al" in tow
to see if they can find a hobby
to occupy "their" time.
She will decide to be positive
and to remember that by the grace of God everything will be okay.

Joshua 1:9
I've commanded you to be strong and brave. Don't ever be afraid or discouraged! I am the Lord you God, and I will be there to help you wherever you go.
