This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Sheri is not sure why she lives
in the frozen tundra
More snow is on the way
that means more creative ways to
keep Bob and "Al"
inside and away from the shovels.
She has hid the boots....
This time she is gonna hide the shovels too
In fact she should probably hide the leaf blower as well!

  1. LOL! I am so glad to see that among all the angst and ups and downs of AD you still have a sense of humor.LOL to the leaf blower. You do have your hands full I know. Praying that you will have the strength to see more humor and less of the bad times. Have as Merry a Christmas as possible. Hugs to you Sheri!
