Sheri was trying to fix the upstairs tub today
She was trying to do it without involving
Bob and Al
Al insisted that the pipe that is attached to nothing
is the way it is suppose to be
So Sheri decided to to show "them" what the problem
was. She went up stairs and filled the tub with water
Then told Bob to stay downstairs and watch what happened
Sure enough as soon as the water in the tub started to drain
the laundry room downstairs began to be flooded
with water...
Bob yells to Sheri "Something is not right!"
(Good, Sheri thinks he gets it now)
She stops the water from draining and runs downstairs
There is "Al" holding his hand over the open pipe
"I dont know where this pipe goes but we need to put the sink under it"
Sheri's house is falling apart at the seams...
Sheri hates this disease.
This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.
