This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Sheri came home last Thursday
to find no phone service, again
She immediately began to look for the usual
Bob and Al's handywork...
Sheri asked Bob "Did you do any work with
with the phone lines?" "They" insisted not.
After investigating for about an hour
Sheri called the phone company from her
cell phone. The rep on the other end
of the phone says " I am sorry but your phone
service was temporarily interrupted for non- payment"
Sheri is furious, she has never had this happen before,
But then thinking that she might actually have missed
a payment, she says the rep, in quite a huff
" Well don't you guys even give a warning before you cut off the phone?"
The rep says calmly " Yes actually...  we spoke to a "Bob" three times."

Oy yoi yoi.
