This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Sheri has many mixed feelings this week
Daughter number two is graduating
from high school, moving on to college
in the fall.
Not being able to have her parents share the
event because of the car accident that left her
mother paralyzed.
Daughter number one is greiving the loss of
a young man that lost his life yestersay. to cancer
at a young and tender age, before his first kiss
even touched his lips
Sheri will turn another year older this week
trapped in a life she can not control.
And Sheri feels like all  the emotions of this
week will be difficult enough to go through
but even more difficult to go through...alone.

Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you."
