This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Sheri hasn't been able to post lately
Although life with Bob and Al is as difficult as ever
the intense pain and suffering in that small country
as taken her heart and tears
and realigned her eyes on Jesus
each day no matter how hard or sad
is a blessing that she can't take for granted anymore....

Forgive me Lord ...for my selfishness
I know in my human nature it will return
But help me remember the saddness for others
I feel today.....

Genesis 4:9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?
