This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Sheri is not sure which is more painful
Looking backward or looking forward
They, Bob and Sheri have 2 daughters
still quite young, 17 and 19
The way they handle Bob and Al
are very different
One wears her tender heart on her sleeve
The other shields her tender heart with her sleeve
But they are both wiping tender tears with their sleeves
And Sheri... is trying to catch all of them...

(Psalm 145: 18-19)
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.
