This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Came home from work to find a new
Project Bob and Al thought, Sheri asked them to do

"They" were building shelves or trying to
Couldn't find the drill bits , didn't have a clue

Sheri did not ask for shelves,
"they" came up with that  all by themselves...

But Bob was sure she told him to build the shelves
Sher started to say "Well I did not tell...."

But she realized Al did not understand
The conversation they had, about a future plan

But the good thing is Bob is feeling better
Only wish Bob and Al could feel good "together"
