This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character"Al" that I created in 2008 represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Bob is still overwhelmed with "the bestest shoes I ever had", as "Al" says. Bob got them for free at work, or so "Al" thinks. "They" love them so much "they" wear them to bed with Bob's PJ's.
Somethings you need to just let go of, don't sweat the small stuff :)

  1. Oh, Sheri, God even uses you and your blog to help me with my 2 teenagers! We so often need wisdom to tell the difference between the important things versus the "small stuff". Bob is so blessed to have you :)
Happy Cinco de Mayo! His blessings,
    Kathryn Z.
