Sheri is not looking for pity, she knows this part of God's plan for her life, but she does hope the devastation that Alzheimer's brings to all families coping with the disease can be seen in the reflection of her tears of laughter.

I think you do such a great job showing the day-to-day challenge of facing Alzheimer's, the things people don't even realize they'll need to deal with over the long haul. Many thanks for the service you provide to others, and to do so with humor is a real talent and blessing for everyone involved.

DeleteMy mother lives with Alzheimers, and your blog has helped my sister and I find the laughter and meaning behind this horrible illness.
