This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri struggles each day to keep all the balls up in the air, but each day after taking a deep breath, she remembers everything God has carried her through in the last year, and she knows her life and this journey in the Alzheimer world has a purpose. She will take refuge in the arms of the Lord.

Psalm 71:1  In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed.

  1. If a God gives you strength, that's great. I wish you well.

For me, too much has happened that makes me cynical and a non believer ... but I respect everyone's choices ... all the best.

I hope these next few days go smoothly for you and your family ... you deserve the best.
