Sheri is hoping to make memories this Christmas season. Thinking of things today that will help preserve the memory of their Dad for the girls, without forgetting to live in the moment, after all this is here and now and as we all know in Alzheimer land, one moment at a time is how we live but isn't that the only thing God promises us?
Merry Christmas friends.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6-7
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next. Amen
