This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Thanks to a reminder from one of Sheri's blog readers and cyber friends :) tired as she was after work she loaded Bob and "Al" up in the car, grabbed her camera and went off to their favorite park. Sheri does not really understand why taking pictures brings her so much joy but it does. Maybe it is because the camera lens blocks all the chaos of her life and she is able to focus on the beauty and the freedom she sees in God's creations,  giving her hope for the future.

Thanks Lori for the reminder :)
