This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"
Yesterday Bob and Sheri were at their usual park. When exiting the park Bob turned to Sheri and said quizzically " Last week, that restaurant was over there (pointing about a 1/2 a block away), why "Al" said would they go through all that work and spend all that money to move it? That seems pointless to me," he said with an air of disgust in his voice. Rather then arguing with him or trying to explain that the restaurant was still in the same place ( and had been for years), Sheri just shrugged her shoulders and jokingly said "maybe they thought they would do better business in the new location." Bob turned to Sheri said " Well, that is the worst business decision I have every heard of." :)
