This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri thinks that Bob may be pretty frustrated in the morning when he sees that "Al" has been playing hide and seek with Bob's "work" (Code for Adult Day Center) name tag. Sheri knows that hanging on the inside of the living room lamp would not be the first place she  would look.   :)

  1. Now that's a good hiding place. I often tell my friends that I spend half of my life looking for things, and they just don't understand. I think I will print this up and show it to them.... Thanks for the smile!
