This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"
Bob is looking for his coffee cup, for some reason "Al" is looking in the linen closet. :)
I just have to say that your posts are the highlight of my day! I know you are in pain at times but I love laughing at the funny things that happen to us as caregivers, in addition to mourning them. Always looking for the silver lining!
Thank you for saying that! Where are you from? It is fun for me to see where people are reading from.I am happy to know I bring a smile to some ones day! Sorry to hear you are a caregiver also though. Good luck to you!
