This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Bob and "Al" are settling in... sorta of. "Al" keeps walking into daughter number ones bedroom when he exits the bathroom. When he can find the bathroom. And of course, things are piling up in the kitchen counters for lack of where to put them or knowing where they go, but "Al" did not know where things went in their old house either! :)

  1. So happy you have found a new home and that Bob and "Al" like their "work". I so admire your sense of humor, which you need to keep always, and your faith. You always inspire me and I'm so glad you are posting.
