This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

I have been out of town so don't know what is going on in blog land. Glad you have a new job!
ReplyDeleteMy mom did let me know that my dad is now on meds for AD. Praise the Lord! He has needed it for about 3 years now. I know it is not a cure but I am hoping it just slows it down! Is this wrong of me....selfish to want him to be able to talk? I have had a couple of conversations and he is making a little sense now.
Prayers for you and Bob. Hugs, ~Karen
