This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al
Sheri and Bob were outside in the garden on Saturday. It was a beautiful day the sun was shining and the clouds were pure white and billowy. It is also very, very windy. "Al" has a very concerned look on his face and says "this makes no sense at all, I just can't figure it out. The sky is a clear, the sun is out and yet the wind is blowing." "The wind does not blow unless it dark and raining, I wonder what is wrong?" Sheri decides to just enjoy natures apparent mistake because the frozen tundra will be here before you know it.... :)

Bob and Al's curiosity always makes me smile. Thanks Sheri for sharing these gems!
