This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Sheri has decided that is safe to say
The handy is gone out of the man...to stay.

Water was leaking from the back of the fridge
the hose to the ice-maker, had a hole in the thing-a-ma-jig

Bob says to Sheri
"We first have to decide, which way the water flows
to know which way this tubing goes"

Sheri says "Bob the water flows from under the sink to the fridge"
So it is coming out the this hole in this thing-a-ma-jig

Then "Al" says to Sheri "but how do you know"
Sheri says to Bob... "There is no other way,  for the water to go..."

Bob gets frustrated with Sheri, " Al" gets confused
Sheri decides to just disconnect the darn tube...
