This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Blessing for the day, although Sheri spent most of the day
in tears and being supported by her dear friends at church
Bob and "Al" seemed to be somewhat content today
he didn't call her and ask her when she was going to come get him,
like he has done several painful times a day since he has been there,
and she went there only for a short time this afternooon
he did not even ask her what the "plan" was.
okay Sheri breathe... you can do this.

Nehemiah 8:10
Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
