This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Yesterday afternoon
as Sheri was cleaning up a bit
Bob was taking the kitchen garbage out of the can
He ties the bag and stops to get
some coffee out of the pot
He pours some into his cup
and drinks it. right there where he is...
he turns back around sees the bag
he just took out of the can and says
to Sheri "Is this bag garbage?" "Does this need to go out?"
They originally told Sheri that Bob was losing new information
in 30 seconds, Sheri thinks "Al" is down to 10.

Galatians 6:9

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (NIV)
