Sheri is laughing
She can not avoid it
The toilet in her bathroom's
been running and Bob told her about.
So she waited all week till she is off and and at home
to take Bob to hardware store
he can't go alone...
So they get home with the flapper
and off "they" both go to replace the
flapper "they' say they can do it alone.
An hour goes by Sheri's looking all over
She sees Bob down on one knee replacing the cover
"I replaced the flapper but it took me while"
had to scrub it an clean it, cleaned the bowl with a file."
"Oh that is great!" Sheri said but then looked around
She chuckled for a moment but then she looked down
"Well" Sheri thought "it looks like he did a great job"
But it was the wrong toilet "they" fixed
Looks like Bob ...forgot to tell "Al"! :)
This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.
