This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al :)

Bobs been baking again
As you can see
"they" keep count now
one, two, three

But now it appears "Al"
left a note
Just in case he forgot
(click to enlarge to see what he wrote)

But it looks like "they" must have forgot
right away
Cause there are not many left
in "over cooked" tray!

  1. Hi Sheri,
Oh, I feel your pain. It was my mom, though, I can't imagine going through this disease with a spouse. I wish you all the best. It's a hard to thing to cope with.

I'd be delighted to share swap links to our blogs. My Alzheimers blog is: www.free-alzheimers-support.com
