This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Well  Sheri came home tonight from work
No phone, no computer.

She asked Bob if he did anything with the phone lines today
Al said "no they did not"

She spent the next two and half hours
undoing what "they" did not do....

This is hard, it is not like she can yell at "them"
YES YOU DID!

It was working when she left
It is only Bob in the house!
(Okay Bob and Al)

Well she is getting better at understanding
how the house is wired.....   :(

Psalm 86:15

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
