This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Bob thinks he is better
Well.. better than what..
Al thinks he is hungry
But they cant find that fudge

Bob says were not
going bowling tonight
Al says "I'm hungry,
but they can not decide.

The pain on Bob's face
says they should just go sleep
Al says he will go to bed..
right after he eats...

Isaiah 58:10
If you offer your food to the hungry and satisfy the needs of the afflicted, then your light shall rise in the darkness and your gloom be like the noonday.
