This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri has a dear friend that has the sweetest small dog. It took "Al" a little bit to warm up to Jack but when he did he enjoyed him immensely. Sheri had to laugh as "Al" was gazing over the arm of his chair to investigate the power strip on the floor, she could tell Jack was just as curious and was sure that if Sheri had a "Jack" in her house... "the boys" and the dog would be partners in crime :)

  1. Loved the pictures; I have a very similar little curious dog like that! But mainly I wanted to see if I could figure out how to send you a YouTube link to a song and version I love that I hope will encourage you (if you have the time to listen). Praying for you, Kathryn
