This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

"Al" was wandering around the house on the long way around to the bathroom, when Bob came across something he seem to know was familiar to him in some way. It has been many, many years since this familiar sight. Seeing this, was more the type of fashion statement Sheri was used to seeing from the non fashionista handy man Bob. He was very pleased to find it, but Sheri had to make it disappear right away as "Al" thought it made a good substitute for his "Projectile" thingy , Sheri also had to make disappear a while back. :)
