This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sometimes something very unexpected happens. Sometimes there are strangers that bless others in ways so unexpected that it makes it hard to swallow. Such is the way Sheri was blessed by a complete stranger. Please click this link to The Caregivers Voice website  and read the article, to see how the wonderful Kathi Koll Foundation blessed Sheri in the most unexpected way. A big thank you as well to Brenda Avadian for passing along my name to the foundation.
Sheri is blessed beyond words, and has a huge lump in her throat. God is good.
Do you know a caregiver in need?
