Bob's back has been really bad the last couple of days. Yesterday he was leaning over so far to side in his recliner that Sheri was afraid he was going to tip over, chair and all. Sheri was in-visioning that 911 call. Bob on the floor with a recliner on top of "Al" and Sheri trapped in the living room with her one footed walker, (blocked by the over turned recliner ) in this tiny house she rented, unable to answer the door when they arrive. Sheri thinks if that were the case... she would wind up needing more than just a new door alarm:)
Yes, go ahead and say it... Sheri is an over thinker.
This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.
