This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri had Bob's care conference with the Day Center this week. They see what Sheri sees."Al" is in a pretty big cognitive slide, and as with all slides they only go one direction. :(
Sheri needs to adjust the plan, and pause ,praise, and pray.

  1. Oh Sheri, this is so hard for you all. When the professional staff confirm your thoughts it always seems a little to real. I'm experiencing the same thing with my husband's FTD (58 years old). Thank you for your blog, honesty, and sharing your family and love of Jesus. May He continue to bless you abundantly. Love Penelope in Oz.
