This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri has many things she is thankful for, although she sometimes loses sight of them! She has a roof over her head, food to eat and a job which is way more then most of the globe. She is very grateful to have this blog and it's readers (you :) as an outlet to express her heart. Sheri wishes her friends and family a very Happy Thanksgiving! Stay safe! Happy Hanukkah to all my Jewish friends as well! What a delight for us to celebrate a once in a life time combination of such wonderful holidays!

Psalm 100.
1Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!
2Serve the LORD with gladness;
     Come before His presence with singing.
3Know that the LORD, He is God;
     It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
     We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
4Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
     And into His courts with praise.
     Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
5For the LORD is good;
     His mercy is everlasting,
     And His truth endures to all generations.
