This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Evening one with  Bob and "Al" hanging with friends from church seemed to be a success. Sheri is hoping day two and three go as well. She is blessed to have a church family that loves and cares for her. The truth is, discovering who Sheri is when it is not defined  first by care giving is a difficult process. But a process she is looking forward to none the less.

Hebrews 10:24-25

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
